Post 10 / English Languaje Challenge

Hello, how are you ;)?

Today I will tell you about the my experience on the english languaje challenge

Well, I think that my experience learning english at university has been great, since the tools that give the blog's or the classes for the professional formation is very necesary for the future and for develop new skills that help me in the daily life. Also, the blog's allow develop the written skills and also allow expand the vocabulary and know new words for use. However, it was boring to travel so early to make a blog:(

Also in this class I could see that there are many classmates who master the language very well :o

On the other side, I think that I need improved some things or aspects of my english because sometimes it is difficult for me speak or write in english since I don't know the exact word for say and that complicate me. However, the practice it is the only solution.

Finally, I can say that I don't use english many times outside the class (beyond listen and sing some song haha), because personally I think that the english not use regularly in the routine or the daily life, that is to say, there is not much interaction in English with other people (I assume that is bad if one want learn more). I don't know why I don't practice for more time. If I want improve I need more practice I know:(

I hope everyone has enjoyed and learned something from English class<3

Personally I hope someday to better master the English language :(

Post 9 / Changes to my study programme

Hello, today I will tell you about the changes that I think are necessary for my study program:

First, I think the subjects that I have now (at this time) are adequate, but I also think that a couple of subjects should change because the truth (at least for me) aren't necessary for the career (or maybe it's the teachers who I don't like it haha).

On the other hand, I think that the workload in the public administration / study program is very overloaded because the time to perform different activities (in relation to the career) is really short and the demand that each subject has doesn't allow concentrate and give our best performance. There isn't good coordination at the time of giving many evaluations and that ends up complicating things.

One of the biggest problems that the study program has is the building where the students are taught, since the infrastructure is not suitable for the university level (other faculties have excellent and modern facilities). The open spaces are quite small and there are classrooms that are very small for the number of students (also don't have a very good ventilation...).

The use of technology in the university is very necessary to simplify the study. The problem here is that the wi-fi is really bad and slow. Also, computers are not enough and that complicates things.

Finally, I think teaching methods (in general) are good. However, it can always be better. Maybe there are some teachers who should reconsider their teaching methods, on the contrary there are really dedicated teachers.

Post 8 / Summer plans

Hello, today I will tell you about what summer plans I have.

For this summer I would like to travel to the south of Chile and the truth is that I will do since I have planned this idea time ago. Then, I will travel to Valdivia city and here stay a one week and after I will travel to Puerto Varas city for continue my holidays (I expect stay the most time that I can). In the first part of this travel I will go with my family and girlfriend. I will accommodated in the house of a friend of my mom, but after (in Puerto Varas) I continue the travel only with my girlfriend. In this city I pretend know many things. I would like to visit some nature park and take various photographs because I believe that this place is the best option to do this. Besides, I would like to make an activity that be funny and interesting. Also, I would like to taste new typical food that be of the zone and can travel to a nearby town.

In this summer I don't expect study, I prefer enjoy my holidays and to be relax. Although anyway I will work in a part of January and February for have some of money. I feel that have or add new experiences is better than stay in a same place with the same routine.

Post 7 / My favorite book

Hello, today I will tell you which is my favorite author and book ...

My favorite author is a Spanish writer named Carlos Ruiz Zafon. The first novel I read about this author was thanks to a gift and the truth is that I liked it a lot.

I like almost all types of books, but I prefer those of mystery and science fiction. My favorite book is the author mentioned above, well, the truth is that it's not just one but a complete saga called "The Cemetery of forgotten books" and that consists of four books:

1) The Shadow of the Wind

2) The Angel's Game

3) The Prisoner of Heaven

4) The Labyrinth of the Spirits

These books are in both Spanish and English. I recommend them!

The last book I read was called "Metro 2034" which is the sequel to another book by the Russian author: Dmitri Glujovski and when classes are over I will read the next installment of this trilogy. I also recommend this book, sometimes it's good to read different things.

I like to read, especially novels that clear my mind. The only bad thing is that, sometimes, books are too expensive. However, a book never ceases to be a good gift (if you were looking for some idea about what to give for this Christmas, you know that a book can solve your problem haha)

Post 6 / Postgraduate studies

Hello, today I will talk to you about the postgraduate studies: 

Nowadays, there are many reasons to study a postgraduate, because the specialization and the laboral versatility is increasingly important for the laboral field. Maybe, have a postgraduate in the future will be necessary for get more laboral opportunities. 

In the future I don't know if I will continue studying, but if I will do I would like to study a postgraduate that have relate to the public management or political science, because is the topic where I would like to learn new things and the area where I would like to work.

I would like to study this postgraduate in Chile in some university that have prestige and trajectory in the field that I would like to study, but I don't deny that if present an opportunity of continue to study abroad I would like anyway. 

I would like to study this postgraduate in a course that be in person, ideally in a flexible time where I can combine the work with study, that is to say, be able to work and study at the same time.

On the other side, I think that study a postgraduate mean spend a lot of money and that, condition who can study a postgraduate. However, also mean an inversion in oneself and that it is really important.

Post 5 / My future job

I would like to work in some ministry that have relation with manage the human resources area or that have relation with the personal of the organization, specifically I would like to work in the Ministry of Defense, but the public administration have much places of work where a public administrator can work. For example are a lot of public services. The truth, also I would like to work in some public service.

In my future job I prefer work in indoors than outdoors because I like the jobs that are comfortable and quiet. I don't deny that in my future job I would like to travel.

The salary of my future job doesn't important for me, because if I like the organization and the enviroment of the job, I should not have problems with the salary (or maybe initially...)

I think that currently, study an major is necesary for have more job oportunities, but continue studying also mean spend much money, although also mean an "investment" in oneself. However, I don't think if I will continue my studies. I have time to decide this.

My concern for the future is if I will find the "perfect" job for me or not. Or if I will have at least one(?)

Post 4 / My favorite food

Hello!
how are you? ;)

There's nothing better than a pizza. It's my favorite food. It's true that it's preparation can be something simple, but even so it's delicious to eat a pizza. I like all types. Any restaurant I go to always try to order a pizza. I would never tire of this food.

On the other hand I'm not very good at cooking. However, I've never practiced enough to say that I can or can not do it. Normally when I go to university I usually eat fast food, since I don't know how to cook and in this way I can not bring a lunch made from my house:( Anyway, someday I'll learn to cook something more than an egg.

The bar-restaurant "El Diablito" is a place where I like to go to drink and eat something. It's located in the neighborhood "Lastarria" and I find it a good space to share with friends. Nearby, there are many restaurants and places where you can eat different things to your liking, (but the money will say what you eat finally haha).

Post 3 / My favorite film

Hello!

Today I will talk about my favorite movie that is Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. This movie was released in 2016 and to understand it better it's necessary to have seen the Star Wars saga, since it's chronologically located between two previous films. The film revolves around the construction of a weapon capable of destroying entire planets, so the "rebels" will try to sabotage the new weapon of the "Empire". Rogue One, is my favorite movie because I'm a faithful follower of the Star Wars saga and this was a movie that explained many things and that I remembered previous movies, besides being very emotional.

However not only I like science fiction movies, I also like suspense movies, because they keep me attentive to each scene and with tension of what can happen to the characters.

One of the most recent movies I've seen, is precisely one of suspense, it's name is "Contratiempo" is a Spanish movie that is based on an accidental murder, it's plot keeps you excited and nervous about what can happen. It's a story very well armed, with mysterious characters and unknowns that you have to decipher. What surprised me most was it's end, I think it's one of the few that has an unexpected situation.

Post 2 / My holidays

Hello, today I'm going to talk about one of my holidays. The most recent was in Curauma in the winter of 2018. I went to this place for two weeks with a friend and here I met some family of him (The true is that I don't like to be in a same place for a long time).

In this place I went down a lake that was beautiful (I don't remember the name of the lake). The nature that surrounded the lake was very plentiful. One of the activities that I did was bicycling for the edge of the lake, exploring until where it arrived. Also I traveled to the Viña del Mar town (it's near from Curauma) and I visited the beach, restaurants and other places of there.

Honestly, I enjoyed a lot with a little and went to Curauma (even for a few days) helped me to disconnect from the daily routine and I think that's the most important of the holidays.

Post 1/ A country I'd like to visit

Hi, I will talk today about of what country I would like to visit:

Spain is a country that I would like to visit because this country have a long history and their people seem to me great. I know that in Spain there are many buildings that have a wonderful architecture. In this country I would like to go down the street of the cities as Barcelona or Madrid. Also I would like to visit museum and historical places.

Sincerely, I would like to only visit this country because I prefer my country for live, work or study (yes, be heard crazy, but I have a big affection to Chile). But I cannot deny that I would like. Beside, if I have an opportunity of that kind, I would think it twice. The good thing of Spain (in this sense) is the language.

I hope I can visit Spain very soon. Is one thing that I have to do.

Personal Information on Internet

The safety of ours personal information on websites, such as social media, is a discussion that depend of the person that share their personal information. I personally don't think that give my personal information to other person, especially in social media, is a good idea, but for other people this isn't important. 

I only share photos, I think that is my limit. Don't interest me give more information (in social media). 

My favorite social media is Instagram, because I can share my photos (mine and other that I take)  and also see the photos of the people that I follow.

I don't like to share on internet personal information such as where I live or many information of me in general. 

My opinion about of the social media is divide, on one hand I think that the social media is useful for many things, on the contrary I think that take me a lot of time.
